Olympic and Paralympic Flag Lighting Ceremony
Monday, March 12, 2007, 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Vancouver City Hall, 453 West 12th Avenue, Vancouver, BC (Upper Parking Lot)
Join Mayor Sam Sullivan at a special early evening celebration event to witness the official lighting of the Olympic and Paralympic flags at Vancouver City Hall. Following O Canada by a local youth choir, speeches and the lighting, there will be free hot chocolate for all. This event marks the official three year countdown to the Vancouver 2010 Paralympic Winter Games.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to Canada Line construction around City Hall, traffic will be heavier than usual. It is strongly suggested that you take public transit or leave sufficient time to find parking.
