What a media ride for Ross Rebagliati. You thought his ability to tear up the snowboard course was impressive.
For the past six weeks he has been ripping and gliding through the print and broadcast media as if they were moguls on a powdery ski hill.
Ever since the former Naramata summer resident was acclaimed as the dude to challenge Stockwell Day in the next fed election, Rebagliati has honed his brand and reinvented his image.
His Liberal political aspirations made national headlines. Then he launched a book tour in December. Next he stated he'll be on a 10,000 km. cross Canada motorbike trip this spring.
Today, a British sports editor thought he was newsworthy and told the Rebagliati story on the pages of the London Daily Telegraph, sprinkled with hints of Rebagliati's sights on the Prime Minister's office.
