Gold Medal Plates

I hosted a martini party and final dinner for the Gold Medal Plates this past weekend at the Hilton Resort in Spa in Whistler, BC. The martini party was Friday night. I had to get up and give a speech about my Olympic experience and then they had my father get up and give his side of the story.  ;)

We had dinner at the Bearfoot Bistro afterward and sabered some champagne.

The next night I hosted the finals of the Culinary Champions. They had competitions across Canada and the 7 winning chefs were brought to Whistler to compete for the title of Canadian Culinary Champion. Each chef prepared a small size meal and we all had to go around and taste all seven meals and score them. It was a great night.
